About the Conference The Get Engaged Conference brings together students from across the globe to develop community leadership skills and collaborate on solutions to local and global challenges. PRISCILE NKENMEZA NZONBI's Reflections Attending this conference was an incredible opportunity for me to represent the Edupower Youth Foundation and highlight the significant strides we are making in Africa, especially in South Sudan. Our work focuses on helping students achieve academic excellence by providing them with the necessary resources and support. The conference also provided a platform to network with youth leaders and industry experts from various fields worldwide. Witnessing the Edupower Youth Foundation's recognition on an international stage in Berlin was immensely gratifying. It reinforced the importance of our vision and the need to believe in it wholeheartedly. Once you embrace the vision, you can inspire others to join and help realize it. In the past, I was often asked why I chose to focus on South Sudan rather than my home country. My passion was evident, but I struggled to articulate a clear response. This experience clarified that the origin of Edupower is not as important as its potential impact. Our vision transcends geographic boundaries, and I am proud to be part of this expansive mission. I am fortunate to work with dedicated individuals like Kur Peter Thon Aduot and Kuir Makuol Akech Kuir, whose passion and commitment drive our efforts forward. Together, I believe we can address the global education crisis through Edupower. Education changes everything.
